Energy STAR 2011: Green Bag Lunch
WHA Architects
4/1/2010 12:00pm - 4/1/2010 01:00pm
Twenty percent of all new homes built in the U.S. in 2009 met the Energy STAR standard. EPA is upping the bar in 2011 with improved home energy efficiency standards based on the best science available. Learn what the proposed ESTAR changes are for 2011 and begin preparing your network to meet them. Indoor AirPLUS and Water Sense are two additional labels EPA offers home builders to distinguish themselves in the marketplace. The standards for these labels will also be presented, as well as a brief summary of customizable marketing materials available to help you sell these free Federal Government-sponsored home labeling programs.
